Town of Bridgewater, Mass., Offering Free Email Marketing Workshop
Bridgewater (M.A.) November 1, 2023 — The Town of Bridgewater's Small Business Support Program will host Email Marketing: Tried and True! The Best Tool You're NOT Using to its Full Potential, on November 8, 2023. The workshop is the third installment in a series of workshops designed to bolster local small business and drive economic development. Led by industry experts, The Spark Social, the workshop is targeted to area business owners who want to use email to scale their business and will explore tactics for growing an email list with qualified leads, customers and prospects. Attendees will leave the workshop well equipped to create a 2024 email marketing strategy.
“Small businesses are truly the cornerstone of building community,” said Bob Rulli, Bridgewater’s Director of the Office of Community & Economic Development, “and residents stated their support of small business in the development of the Town’s Comprehensive Master Plan. Like other goals and objectives set forth in that plan, the Town’s establishment of our small business support program is an important element of the Vision to Reality initiative.”
Rockland Trust is sponsoring the workshop. "We are proud to sponsor the Small Business Workshop as part of Bridgewater’s Vision to Reality initiative,” said Thomas Golden, Vice President, Community Reinvestment Act Office, at Rockland Trust. “As a community bank, it is our mission to provide our non-profit partners, small businesses, and customers with the support and resources they need to thrive and grow."
The workshop will be held at Easterseals MA's The Bridge Center from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 8, 2023. The event is free but registration is recommended.
ABOUT VISION TO REALITY: REVITALIZING THE HEART OF BRIDGEWATER
Revitalizing the Heart of Bridgewater: Vision to Reality is a strategic, community-driven initiative that addresses many of the objectives from the Town of Bridgewater’s Comprehensive Master Plan completed in 2022. The initiative focuses on transforming the town’s Central Business District, which includes Central Square and the area in and around Campus Plaza, into a vibrant hub of business and community by improving underutilized downtown properties and pedestrian safety, increasing connectivity between downtown and surrounding areas through transit-oriented development, and providing support to existing and new businesses while preserving Bridgewater’s historic character.
